How a Tiny Accident Made My Day a Little Sweeter

Every morning I have my routine, like most of you. In this routine I do things in a certain order. Some people may call it a rut I like to think of it as a time to be on autopilot freeing my mind for other activities. Today, was a bit different. Something had changed. I don’t know what caused the shift in the Universe that led to the change but I do know the result: My day was now a little sweeter.

What happened? Normally, I pour creamer into my spoon and then add the creamer to my coffee. Then I pour splenda into the spoon to add to my coffee. I use different amounts of cream and splena. Today, I somehow switched the order and started with splenda. However, I kept the amounts the same. Effectively doubling the sweetness and halving the creaminess. I was in for a pleasant surprise when I took my first sip. Such a happy little accident.
